I’ve been super busy and work and also forgetting everything (yay pregnancy brain!) so I thought that it might be fun this month to show some of the pregnancy related bullet journal layouts I’ve put together.
I am a very Type-A person, and when you combine that with my extreme forgetfulness – you can understand the reason why I’m so into keeping a journal. My journaling definitely stepped up it’s game when I found out I was pregnant. I needed daily reminders to take my prenatal vitamins, to get enough sleep, to exercise enough without overdoing it...
Sure, I have about five secret Pinterest boards all related to aesthetically cute baby things (one for the nursery, one for clothes, one for general baby gear, ect., ect.) but having a baby isn’t just about cute outfits and nursery day dreams.
My pregnancy journal layouts help me keep track of doctors appointments, the development and passing of symptoms, and other important notes that I might be feeling week-by-week. I’m starting to make other layouts too – full of generally important baby related info that I want easy access to (like the formula chart I traced in about a week ago).
I’ve got mood board pages of nursery inspiration and checklists full of tasks to tackle in Baby K’s room – but there’s something super soothing about looking over the to-do list of things to accomplish before this baby makes her grand entrance into the world. I mean, of course it’s overwhelming – but for me, I’d rather be faced with a daunting amount of information well beforehand versus realizing in month nine that there are so many things we’ve got to get done.
